Johnnie Lue Sims, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008. She was born January 27, 1938 to the late Will and Willie (Pitford) Sims in Merigold, MS. Johnnie is survived by a son, Willie Sims; grandson, Aaron Sims; three sisters, Martha Woods, Frances Sims-Pickens, Mary Blair; a brother, Percy (wife Ella) Sims, and niece, Gloria Donelson. She was preceded in death by sisters, Virginia Gray, Betty Sue Sims-Moss, Lula Sims; and brother, Albert Sims. A private graveside service will be at New Crown Cemetery Indianapolis, IN.
