He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jack Ballard. He is survived by his wife Debby (Covey) Ballard, children; Jervis Lee Ballard, Jr., Mary Collins, James (Cassie) Covey, Amanda (Scott) Johnson, brothers; Curtis, Jed, Richard, Ronald and sisters; Jean Huffman, Pat Pryor. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21, 5-8 pm and Friday, September 22, 9-10 am at Post Road Christain Church with services to follow at 10 am Friday.
