Jerry William Throgmartin of Carmel, Indiana, 57, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 of complications from meningitis. He was born to William Gerald Throgmartin and Shirley Byers in Indianapolis on December 14, 1954. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Sue (Schmidt) of 35 years, son Gregg (Heather), daughters Christy and Nicky, father William (Betty Jo), sisters Monica Adams, Janice (Jim Al) Malone, Kelli Ball, and Sandi (Neal) Smith, Diane (Jerry) Hopkins, and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley. Jerry graduated from UIndy, earned his executive MBA at Indiana University, and spent his 36-year professional career at hhgregg, now a fourth generation business.
Viewing 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, with funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27 at Grace Community Church, Noblesville. Private graveside service.
