Janis Elaine Jones, 62, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 5, 1947, the daughter of the late Forrest and Lois (Snider) Hall.She is survived by a daughter, Rachel (Chad) Hatten; a son, Michael (Lesa) Hafler; two step daughters, Teresa (David) Karotko, Tara (Greg) Dunfield; a step son, Thomas Jones Jr.; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jones Sr. and grandson, Jason VaughanVisitation will be Monday, January 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis with services starting at 12 p.m.

Rachel and Michael: I am so sorry for your loss of your mother. I took care of her the day we started the morphine IV. Unfortunately my son was sick and I didn’t get back the next day, but I was thinking of you all. I’m thankful I was able to care for her in her last days and to have met you all.
