Jacqueline Joanne Gatlin, 75, of Cicero, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009. She was born in Indianapolis, on January 6, 1934, the daughter of the late Otto and Rosamond (Wilson) Rickard.Jacqueline is survived by three daughters, Mila (Ronald) Dyson, Kathy Duncan, Penny (Steve) Majors; a son, John (companion Denise Wise) Gatlin Jr; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie (James) Koontz; and a brother, Rodney Rickard. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Majors.Funeral service will be Monday, June 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden Baptist Church, 1725 S. Jackie would always come in and visit with me for a few moments when she came in the office. She seemed to have a smile on no matter what was going on, and would leave me feeling happier for her visit. I am so sorry for her families loss, but the last time we spoke she told me her time was limited and she was not afraid. She knew she would be welcomed into the arms of Jesus.
