Howard Williams, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, July 15th, 2007 peacefully at Rosewalk Village. He was born June 10, 1918 to the late George and Dora Williams in Detroit, MI. He served in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman during World War II earning two Purple Hearts, American Defense Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 1 Bronze Star and an Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with 3 Bronze Stars.He was the husband of Inez (Luke) Williams, who survives. Other survivors include his nephew, Brian Luke and his wife Shawna.Funeral Service will be at Harry Moore Family Mortuary, Indianapolis, IN, at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 18th, with Pastor Tom Madon officiating. Visitation will start one hour prior to service. Graveside Services will be at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.
