She was born April 10, 1928 in Berchtesgaden, Germany.
Hildegard is survived by two children, Thomas L. Collins, Jr. (Lisa) and Deborah K. Collins Winchester; grandchildren, Steven J. Collins (Laura), Erika M. Smith (James), and Emma Collins; great-grandchildren, Dane and Sadie Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Collins, Sr., and a sister, Helga Vandemeer.
A Celebration of Life will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011 at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 107 W. 3rd St., Sheridan.
Harry W. Moore Funeral Care is in charge of arrangements.
