Harold Dale Edwards, 67 of Indianapolis was called home by our heavenly father on August 27, 2008, after a courageous battle with throat cancer. He was a wonderful father, father in law, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is deeply loved by many, especially his children. Harold was born on October 31, 1940 with a twin brother Gerald to the late Alden W. and Janie J. Edwards. Harold was preceded in death by companion Catherine Wethington, also five brothers Ed, Howard, Robert, Raymond, John and two sisters Dorothy Martin,Emma Chappie and infant sister Helen Marie Edwards. Left behind to cherish his memory are: Daughter Anna (Marc) Sisk Indianapolis, Alden Edwards Indianapolis, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Edwards Greenfield, Paul (Celeste) Edwards Lafayette, Also Former wife and friend Helen Clement Charlottesville, twin brotherGerald (Fay) Edwards Lapel, Lavina Mae Edwards Indianapolis, Judy (Ray) Day Crawfordsville. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, and many brothers/sisters in laws. Our family would like to especially thank Jeanette Wilkins RN, Chaplain Bob Calvert, Anita Kress M.S.W, L.S.W and other team members of the Adventa Home Hospice Service for their love, care, support to our father and our family during our difficult time.

Well Unkle, it’s been awhile but when I think of you, I remember when you taught me to ride a bike and I rode it right into a big tree!
I remember playing pilots on the hill with a wagon and 2by4 as our’ wings! I remember the plane that went down in the field and we were gonna drag it home and have a REAL PLANE!! But the bees and a BIG Bull had different ideas!! I can’t recall which of us was the RED BARON:)?
