Gregory Jay (Greg) Segal, 52, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010. Gregory was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 6, 1957, the son of Milton F. and Sandra (Fine) Segal.Greg was committed to his faith, devoted to his family, enjoyed wakeboarding and a finely shaved cornbeef sandwich. Greg had 25 years of corporate software sales experience covering the midwest, Europe and Asia. He also frequently traveled to the Crowe Indian Reservation on mission trips. He was honored by being named a Kentucky Colonel. Greg attended North Central High School and IUPUI.Greg is survived by his wife; Micki (Rodriguez) Segal, a son Andrew R. Segal; daughter Krista ( Scott) Steiner; grandson Braden Steiner; sister Donna Segal; and niece AlexisPreceeded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Bertha Fine, William and Frances Segal; and Uncle Robert SegalFriends are invited to call Thursday, February 25th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Grace Community Church Noblesville, IN. A Celebration of Life will be held at Grace, at 10:00am on Friday, February 26th, with Pastor Dave Rodriguez officiating. Greg will be laid to rest at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice 8450 N. Payne Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46260 or Jewish Community Center, Smile of a Child program, in memory of Gregory Segal, attention Sanford Schwartz, 6701 Hoover Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46260. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at St. Vincent Health Care Systems, the IU Simon Cancer Center and the Springmill Clinic.

    Sincere condolences to Greg’s entire family. He was a deeply caring person. I have fond memories of growing up with Greg during the challenges of being teenagers. I will continue to think of him often. May his memory be a blessing.
