Gladys (Prickett) Garner, 83, of McCordsville, passed away September 16, 2013. She was born in Indianapolis April 26, 1930 to William and Trilla Prickett.
Gladys was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fortville. She was a woman of great faith, a loving and devoted wife, and wonderful mother. She will be missed by all.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Garner. She is survived by their five children, Jim Garner, Nadine (Garner) Brooks, Donald Garner, Richard Garner, and Kevin Garner; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Nazarene in Fortville Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
