Geraldine “Gerry” Zessin, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at home on June 23rd, 2008.She was born in December 1925 to Hobart and Mae Chandler in Bloomington, Indiana. She was married to Eugene Zessin, who preceded her in death. She was a devoted mother and homemaker, and her family was a very important part of her life. She is survived by her husband Gayther Dockery, children Betty Wright (Greg), Ginny Broady (Greg), and Gene Zessin (Stella), and Shannon Meyer (Kert); 10 grandchildren Mike, Jeff, Steven, Janine, Sean, Jennifer, Blakely, Amanda, Ethan, & Samantha; 6 great-grandchildren Brandon, Ashley, Hannah, Brent, Nathen and Jennifer’s baby, and one great-great grandson Gauge.Visitation will be held at Harry W. Moore Family Mortuary, 8151 Allisonville Road, Thursday, June 26th from 10-2:00 pm with the funeral at 2:00. She will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
