Gerald Holder, 59, of Muncie, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

He was born on April 26, 1953 in Winchester to the late Gerald Leroy and Alice Louise Holder. Gerald worked in the trucking industry and belonged to the Son of the American Legion in Winchester. He enjoyed sports and loved being around his grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Darren Holder (Marie Holder) of Ridgeville; a daughter, Lisa Holder (Fiancé Richard Puente) of Muncie; step daughters, Carnellia (Brian) Ellison of Richmond and Renee Moyer of Farmland; 4 grandchildren, Clayton Holder, Christopher, Jenniffier, and Cheyenne Puente; 5 step grandchildren, Isaac and Destiny Ellison, Richard, Tollie, and Dillion Beaty; a brother, Kevin Holder of Berea, KY; sisters, Sue Holder of Saratoga and Bev Holder; a brother, Bobby Holder of Winchester; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012, 4pm at United Pentecostal Church with visitation starting at 2pm. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Maxville.
