Garnett McPherson Aldridge61, Fortville, IN., passed away November 1, 2004 at her home. She was born December 9, 1942 to Charlie Smith and Mary Trent Smith of Jackson, Kentucky.Garnett worked for many years as a florist in Indianapolis, and her love for flowers was evident in the beautiful things she created for her home and for others. After her retirement, she became an avid reader, and had taken up quilting and painting.Garnett is survived by two brothers, Harold Dean Smith and Oneil Smith; two sons, C. Greg McPherson, his wife Kay, and Phillip McPherson and his wife Linda; grandchildren Nicole, Natasha, Ryan, Adam, Amanda, Justin, Reggie, Tyler, and Brayton; and great-granddaughter Cheyene. Services will be held at Harry Moore Family Mortuaries, Allisonville Road Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road Thursday, November 4 at 11:00 am, with visitation Wednesday, November 3, 4 pm to 8 pm. Burial will be in Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
