Floyd Richard Dilk, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Marble Corner, IN on August 12, 1930, the son of the late Clarence and Sina (Wright) Dilk. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force as an Airman 4. He was a dispatcher/manager with several freight companies in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Osgood Methodist Church and American Legion Post #173. Floyd is survived by his wife of 56 years, Juanita (Mosier) Dilk; two daughters, Robin (Mark) Crum, Pamela (Fred) Tumilty; three grandsons; three great grandchildren; and a brother, Nelson (Dorothy) Dilk. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Ralph, and Delbert Dilk. Services are private at the convenience of family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice 8450 N. Payne Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46260. A special thank you to nurse Carol O’Donnell and Chaplain Tony for great care and consideration to Floyd and our family.
