Faris Mesalam, 88, of Fishers, departed this life Monday, November 12, 2012.
Faris was born in Saidnaya, Syria, in 1924, and moved to the United States in 1955. Faris was a pharmacist and worked well into his 80’s. He was a loving husband and father and dedicated member of St. George Orthodox Church, where his father was a founding member.
He is survived by his wife, Nahia; his daughters, Brenda, Maureen, and Janet; and son, George.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 4020 N. Sherman Dr., with burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd., with a Trisagion service at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George Orthodox Church.
