Ethel M. (Fisher) Hahn, 107, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, June 2nd, 2008. She was born November 16, 1900 in Winamac, IN to the late Willima and Mary Mowrer. For most of her adult life she lived in Gary, IN. She was an avid fisherman with a great sense of humor. Ethel is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Lauter; son, William E. Hahn; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Private graveside service will be held at a future date. Memorial contribution may be made to Epworth Methodist Church or charity of choice.

Indianapolis, INEthel M. HahnEthel M. Hahn, 107, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, June 2, 2008. She was born in Winamac, Indiana on November 16, 1900 and attended business college in Chicago. During most of her adult life she lived in Gary, Indiana and worked for the Gary Credit Bureau. She was an avid fisherman with a great sense of humor and a smile for everyone she met. Her husband, Cleatus (Bill) Hahn, preceded her in death. Ethel is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Lauter (John); a son, William E. Hahn (Joy); 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-great-granddaughter. A private graveside service was held at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana on Monday, June 9 at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
