Ms. Erma L. Jones, 76, of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, April 11th, 2009. Erma was born in Lincoln County, TN on January 27, 1933, to the late Wesley and Oma (Davis) Lauderdale. She Managed Devington Liquors for over 20 years. Erma is survived by three sons; Michael D. (Carla) Jones, Steven A. Jones, Darrell G. (Becky) Jones and two daughters; Donita (Kevin) RobbinsBonita D. Shaffer. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. Erma was preceeded in death by a son Dwight N. Jones and companion James Meisberger.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15 from 4-8pm. at Harry Moore Family Mortuary with services on Thursday, April 16th at 11:00amErma will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memory Gardens Whitestown, IN.

Darrel & Becky, I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Erma. I did not know her very well, only met her a couple of times at the Raincheck, but Kenny said she was his 2nd mom. God Bless both of you. Janice

Erma was always good to us when we were kids growing up on Nordyke, I don’t know how our parents(mothers) were able to deal with us always running around the neighborhood and staying in trouble. Sorry for your loss, your mom is in a better place!!
