Dounia A Khamis, age 8, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 17, 2001, the daughter of Emil F. and Sharin F. (Dahdal) Khamis. Dounia is survived by her parents; two sisters, Emily Khamis, Nadeen Khamis; and a brother, Leo Khamis Visitation will be Monday, April 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care, and also Tuesday, April 20 at 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. then going in procession to church. Funeral Service at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 4020 North Sherman Drive, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20. Interment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers, IN.

I will never forget caring for you and your brother and sister at Womens Hospital in the NICU after you were born. You were an angel then and remained that way thru your all too short life. My love and prayers to your parents and Emily Leo and Nadeen. She is now our angel in heaven!
