Dorothy Dean, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 12, 2013. She was born on November 27, 1948 in Cawood, Kentucky to Frank Chester and Alice Dean. She is survived by her children, Dallas (Shonda Burgess) Dean, Allison (Joe) Staley, and Candace (Jesse Johnson) Dean; grandchildren, Megan, Matthew and Andrew Staley, and Mya and Aliya Rodrigues; brothers, Millard (Crystal) Dean Sr., Arthur (Betty) Dean, Marvin Dean; and sisters, Faye Jenkins and Joyce Osborne; sisters in law, Georgia Dean and Elizabeth Dean, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wilson Dean, Paris Dean, Floyd Dean, and Howard Dean; and brothers in law, Harold Jenkins and Troy Osborne. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 16 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W Moore Chapel. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
She was a loving mother and a fantastic nana. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
