Darrell H. Thomas, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at home on January 31, 2006.He was born November 25, 1919 in Indianapolis to Hosea and Magdeline Thomas. He grew up in Indianapolis, and after graduating from high school he served his country honorably in the Army Airforce. He married his beloved wife Cora in Gulfport, Missouri on October 28, 1944. She survives him, along with their son Darrell Thomas (wife Edna). He is also survived by his grandchildren Melanie Bonar and Scott Thomas, and great-grandchildren Jacqui Thomas and Ian Bonar. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert and Wayne Thomas, and sister Barbara Holtz. A brief celebration of his life will be Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 4:00 pm with a visitation two hours prior. Friends and family are invited to join and share memories and stories, and celebrate his life.
