He was preceded in death by his wife Ginny Block, his sisters Sally Medley and Norma Chamberlain, brother, George Block, parents Margaret and George Block and stepchildren Robert Carlson and Pat Whitehouse. He is survived by his son Kenny Block (Paula), daughter Sheila Stoeger (Tony), stepsons Gary McCracken (Sue) and Richard Carlson and a stepdaughter, Linda Kelley (Jon). He has two grandchildren, Destiny Stoeger and grandson Brandon Block and step-grandchildren, Brandy and Annette McCracken, Matt, Jeremiah, Jesse, Stephen, Tony, Ginny and Christopher. Step-great-grandchildren: Mea, Ashley, Austin, Chelsea, Cassidy, Conner, Tylor, Rick, Jacob, Kayla, Brianna, J.T., Trayton, Kaitlyn, Anthony, Christopher and Christian and a sister, Dorothy Sutton.Viewing will be held on Friday, January 23, 2009, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 1415 Msh North Gate Park, Madison, IN. Following the viewing, Mr. Block will be laid to rest with a military honor guard service.
