Charlotte Jean McGauhey Uebelhack Berns, 81, passed away on October 6. 2011. Parents: Laymon Parker McGauhey and Mary Marie (Summers) McGauhey. Surviviors: Daughter; Marian Pyron (Timothy), sons; Jon Uebelhack (Rebecca) and Michael Uebelhack, sisters; Marian Dennis (John), Kathleen Randall and sister-in -law Judith McGauhey, Brother; Raymond Jones (Judy). Eleven grandchildren. Charlotte was predeceased by son Robert Uebelhack, brother Laymon (Bud) McGauhey and husband John L. Berns. Also surviving is her good friend and caregiver, Tom Lane and her dog, Bailey. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 12 at Northminster Presbyterian Church. Visitation is from 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with the service starting at noon and a lunch catered afterwards in the church. Dear Jon, Marian,and Mike, Just a little note to let you know much you are all cared for. It’s not an ending but a bright new beginning. Our Miss Charlotte is as safe and warm as a newborn infant wrapped up in the garments of Jesus and as I type this A warm glow falls over my body..I’m thinking it’s a hug from above or I guess it could be one of those hot flashes that I get from time to time. No..I’m going with the hug. Keep your spirits up We really need to have a fun get together. If you’re going to be around this weekend maybe we can start a bonfire and kick back. Let me know.
