Charles “Chuck� N. Howard, 85, passed away December 14, 2010.
He was born November 11, 1925 in Evanston, IL, the son of Hubert and Edith Howard.
Chuck married Janet Lehmer in 1950. He was in the U.S. Navy. He graduated from Dartmouth College Thayer School of Engineering in 1947. He owned and operated Howard Leasing, and worked with Rose Engineering. Chuck was an avid fisherman and enjoyed swimming, growing tomatoes, and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; brother, John; his children, Hubert David (Cindy), Barbara (Peter) Cober, Christina (Joel) Dwyer, and Edith Melvin; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Hubert.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
