Celia E. “Betty� Long, 91, passed away May 18, 2011. She was born November 17, 1919 in Kendallville.
Betty graduated from Indiana University with a business degree and was an executive secretary. She was a member of ZTA sorority holding several offices, and was District President of the sorority for the State of Indiana. Betty was a long-standing member of St. Matthew Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Richard A. Long, Jr.; son, Ralph (Sue Ellen) O’Dell; daughter, Diane (Donald) Lape; stepsons, Gary (Patricia) Long and Douglas Long; step-daughter, Catherine Long; and eleven grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis. Friends may call from 4:00 until service time.
