    I AM FREE
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path in front of me.
I took his hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to live, to work, or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at close of day.
If parting has left a void,
then fill it with remembered joy.
    A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I’ve savored much,
Good friends, good times, A loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.

    Rest in peace, Mommy!

Carol, I was sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Please know that I am thinking of you and the boys. I loved our conversation at work yesterday, about your Mom. What a wonderful story! Love, Susan

We are sorry for your loss, but thankful for the suffering which is over. We hope that happy memories will rise to replace the pain, and that grief will give way to the comfort of knowing a life that gave much to the world, especially through children, grand-children, and now great-grand children.

I am very sorry for your loss. Your mother was a very nice lady and neighbor and was always very nice to me. I will remember her in my prayers.

Aunt Carol, I haven’t seen you since I was 17 years old but I have nothing but fond memories visiting you in Indiana with my mom (Lucille) and dad (Fred) and brother and sister. I think that it is funny that I also have a Justin, Jason and Steven (also a daughter Kristin). May you rest in peace, sweet Aunt Carol and may we all be together one day in heaven. Condolences to your family. Love, Susie Schlottman and the Rabe Family.
