Bobbie D. Howard was born in Birmingham, Alabama on February 11, 1938 to the Union of James and Louise (Robinson) Howard. In his early years he attended Holy Family High School, and when he was seventeen he enlisted in the US Air Force, serving his country honorably for five years. During this time he studied to become a dental apprentice. Bobbie confessed his belief and love for Christ at an early age, and he recently rededicated himself to Christ and his teachings. He was a member of Solid Rock Church of God in Christ where he served faithfully on the Deacon’s board. He was employed in a variety of capacities in the hospitality industry, and was the lead waitstaff at Palmer House Restaurant from 1960 to 1984. He also worked as a carman for Indiana Harborbelt Railroad Systems (which later became Conrail) for many years. Everywhere he went he made someone smile, Everywhere he went he touched somebody’s heart, Everywhere he went he was somebody’s somebody
