Betty J. Howe (Abel), 86, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 19, 2012. She was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and was originally employed by Real Silk Hosiery. She also worked at GC Murphy Company, American Medical Supply and Millers Merry Manor Castleton. Betty was a former member of North Tacoma Christian Church where she taught Sunday school, and current member of Castleton Christian Church. Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ralph “Bud” Howe, four children; Brenda Howe, Vicky (Jerry) Bonney, Bruce (Kathy) Howe and Varce (Glenda) Howe; seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Funeral service will be on Monday, January 23, 11:00 am at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care with visitation on Sunday January 22, from 6 – 8pm and 1 hour prior to service.

I am so saddened for your loss and the loss of a beautiful woman and Aunt. Aunt Betty and Uncle Bud were both there for myself and my siblings when we were very young and needed them. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family during this difficult time.
