Benedict “Ben� E. Cobb, Sr., 79, Indianapolis, died at home on January 1, 2013. A devoted family man, he is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Toni Kay; children: Benedict “Dick� (Cindy), Robin Morrow (Doug), Steven (Donna), Sandra Villeneuve (Randy), Christopher, Jennifer Payne (Geoffrey), Robert “Dutch� (April), Bradley, Mitchell; 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings. His surviving sisters, Joan Davis (Alfred), Janice Eads (Billy), Mary Hicks (Larry), and Bernice Eads (Marty) and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends and associates will all miss his sweet, kind and gentle disposition, his loving devotion and his emotional support. The family will receive friends at a celebration of Ben’s life from 3:00-5:00 on January 13th at the White River Yacht Club, 1400 East 74th Street, Indianapolis. Arrangements by Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.

    I wish to express my sorrow at hearing of the passing of Benny. I worked with him for several years at Indiana Bell, Ameritech, etc. He was a great person and good friend.
