I first met Tony when he first started working at IRS. We later were team mates in a group for 4 years. We were most recently working together again.Tony was always kind, always upbeat and had a kind and helpful word for everyone. He was always willing to share any information he had learned to help everyone else work more efficiently. I was always impressed by his love for family. It was a privilege to have known Tony. I offer my prayers to his family for comfort and care in this difficult time.
Gail Rubush says
First, I wish to extend my deepest sympathies and prayers to Sherry and the family. I met you years ago and also became friends with Tony. We would always be talking about his family and mine. He was so happy a week ago last Friday – looking forward to Christmas and the time he was going to spend with his family. By the Grace of God he got his wish. Sherry — I love you and will always be here for you. I may not be able to attend the services but know if I can\’t, that I am still there with you. Call me anytime day or night and I will be right there with you. I prayed last night and had a conversation with Tony also. He is with God now and what better place could he be? May God be with you and your family during this sad time but all of you know that he is looking out for you and always there as long as he is in your heart. Maybe even he might be having a conversation with my mother. May God Bless and Keep you all. Also, a special message to Earl – he could not have had a better son-in-law than you. May God be with you also.
Love,
Gail Rubush
Gayla Charette says
I\’ve known Tony for several years at the IRS and was his most recent manager. When I recently became his manager, I asked the team of employees to daily stop by my office and say hello to me and I also wanted to say hello to each of the employees. Tony stopped by early each morning to wish me a good day and likewise I would do the same for him. We had some enjoyable conversations and was he was so pleased to share with me the newest great-grandchild. I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.
Chris says
To many he was Dad
To more he was a friend
To ten he was their grandpa
And to one a loving husband
Family was important to him
And his family loved him so
Times like these are hard for us
We hate to see him go
Faith you feel deep inside
And Faith is what you need
To get you through the tough times
Let your faith take the lead
Let it lead you to a happy place
Where wishes do come true
A place where you can think about
Everything he did for you
There is just so much he gave
To us throughout the years
We think of all the happy times
Yet today we shed some tears
Yes, he will live forever
If we all just do our part
Take your memories of our friend
And keep them in your heart!
