After a short battle with cancer, Roma Joyce Gabbard, born Tuesday August 15, 1939, passed away peacefully in her sleep at 5:45 am on November 1, 2018.  She was surrounded by family and friends.
When relaxing, she loved to watch Animal Planet, Nat Geo Wild, and any crime show.  She lived with her oldest grandson, Brandon, who took care of her.
Survivors include her children, Ginger George, of Greenwood, Brian Gabbard of Columbus, Jackie Gabbard of Austin, Texas, and Kimberly Gabbard of Columbus. Unfortunately, Kimberly passed hours after Roma.
She had 6 loving grandchildren: Tyler Rice of Greenwood, Christin Tucker of Columbus, Chelsea Gabbard of Columbus, Seth Heagy of Columbus, Shayla Heagy of Columbus, and Brandon Gabbard of Greenwood.
Roma also had 10 great grandchildren: Aleah Purvis, Cayden Purvis, Kimberly Purvis, Abbie Rice, Payton Rice, Javion Starks, Kylin Gabbard, Eric Gabbard, Josiah Gabbard, and Brody Gabbard.

She was preceded in passing by her husband Jack Gabbard, and her daughter Lisa Gabbard.
