Dennis A. Wegl, of Carmel, IN, was born in Chicago, IL on February 8, 1941 to John and Helen
Wegl and departed this life on September 8, 2017.

Dennis grew up in Skokie, IL and graduated from Bradley University where he met his loving
wife, Susan Heppner, to whom he was married for 53 years. Dennis served for two years in the
US Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. He held various corporate positions in the
Chicago area and retired to the Indianapolis area in 2005.

He is survived by his wife Susan, daughters, Laura (Mrs. Michael) Marriottini and Anne (Mrs.
Mark) Ciosek, grandsons Noah and Ben Kitsos and Sam Ciosek, sister Marilyn Muenze and
extended family, Linda and Steve Claffey, Nancy and Jim Cotterill and Sally and John Mayhill.

A Celebration Of Life service will be held in Robertson Chapel, St. Lukes United Methodist
Church, 100 W. 86th Street, Indianapolis, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 3 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
