Donald B. Dickerson October 13, 1953 – February 22, 2017 64, of Indianapolis, our beloved son, brother, husband, father and friend peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, and is now resting in the Arms of the LORD.
He was preceded in death by his father Shelton Dickerson and leaves to cherish his memories the love of his life, Carolyn Haygood, their dear sons, Carlton Haygood (Stacy), William Haygood (Tracy), Michael Haygood, David Haygood, Paul Haygood (Pamela), and dear daughters, Stephanie Haygood, Simone Haygood, Kendra Dickerson. He is survived by mother Eunice Dickerson, brothers, Williams Dickerson (Patricia) and Bennett Dickerson (Fannie), and sisters Shirley Dickerson Byers, Rosa Dickerson Lane (George), Jacquline Dickerson, Mary Dickerson Stevenson (Anthony), and Cynthia Dickerson Howard (Juan).
A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, with viewing from 11:30am-1:00pm and funeral services starting at 1:00pm.
Immediately following the service, please join us for his interment ceremony at Crown Hill Cemetery, his final resting place.
